The PIGM 400 series offers a range of products for treating and preventing pigmentation spots, both visible ones and those that have not yet formed on the skin's surface, and boosting the skin with glow. The formation of pigmentation is the result of complex processes influenced by underlying biological factors, including lifestyle, sun exposure, and the skin's overall ability to produce melanin. Melanin is the body's primary method of protecting itself against the sun's harmful UV-rays. With excessive sun exposure, melanin synthesis can become disrupted by these biological factors. This results in the skin's melanocytes (the cells that produce melanin) overproducing melanin, eventually leading to the formation of a dark spot. These processes also accelerate skin aging, making it especially important to be diligent with sun protection and avoid unnecessary sun exposure.
